They are seeking a motivated Kaizen Promotion Office (KPO) Intern to support continuous improvement initiatives and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic aerospace manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing and developing equipment, tools, fixtures, and carts that support aerospace operations
Support KPO workflows including documentation, process optimization, and data-driven engineering tasks
Collaborate with engineering tech leads to build, test, and refine prototype equipment
Perform hands-on fabrication tasks such as assembly, measurement, troubleshooting, and iterative improvements
Help create and maintain engineering drawings, CAD models, and technical records
Participate in process studies and recommend improvements for efficiency and safety
Support the integration of engineered solutions into production or testing environments
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and quality requirements

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, Administration, Marketing or a related technical field
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time bases without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations

Preferred

Knowledge or experience with Kaizen and continuous improvement methodologies
Familiarity with aerospace component manufacturing, including fabrications, machining, laser technology, welding, coatings, and heat treatment
Basic design and fabrication skills
Manufacturing Experience Preferred
Understanding of mechanical components and basic machine design
Basic blueprint reading and interpretation skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and adaptability
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
Creative thinking with a proactive approach to problem-solving
