Responsibilities

Setup and standardize NDI equipment and conduct system performance checks to ensure system and inspection accuracy
Perform complex NDI inspections, specifically A-scan and C-scan Ultrasonic Testing (UT) on composite aircraft parts
Identify, document, and report any defects, non-conformances, or anomalies found during the inspection process
Interpret, evaluate, and document inspection results in accordance with approved Wisk procedures, specifications, and industry standards
Developing written work instructions from general procedures
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions
Maintain NDI certification and comply with all safety regulations and quality management system requirements

Required

NDI Certification: Current or prior certification as a Level 2 Ultrasonic Testing (UT) inspector in accordance with NAS-410 or equivalent recognized standard
Experience: Proven experience performing ultrasonic NDI on composite materials, including A-scan and C-scan methodologies
Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of UT principles, equipment operation, and flaw detection techniques in aerospace-grade composites
Work Environment: Must be able to work ONSITE in the Mt. View, CA facility
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting results and interacting with cross-functional teams
