Senior Development Officer

Responsibilities
Design and execute a comprehensive development strategy for major and planned gift prospects for the regional Mercy Health Foundations
Solicits for hospital programs capital campaign gifts and ongoing fundraising efforts
Work with Mercy physicians as part of the grateful patient program
Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum three to five years of successful principal and major gifts experience
Preferred
Demonstrate experience in effectively working with all levels of leadership and staff
Demonstrate success in soliciting major gifts (gifts of $10,000+)
Experience securing philanthropic support for a hospital or health system
CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive)
