ELMT Design Project Engineer, Eng II (Onsite)

Responsibilities

Work as an onsite representative of ASE supporting Repair and Limits Design tasks and CIPT/CAIPT engine/hardware investigations and dispositions
Coordinate and influence resources to meet technical, development and production requirements
Monitor and trend hardware health for limit updates, product improvement, and repair activities
Liaise between Aftermarket Operations and Engineering regarding design tasks and investigation scope and implementation
Prepare and present status and technical content to cognizant Pratt & Whitney stakeholders
Facilitate or complete the evaluation of incoming tasks and hardware non-conformances
Support (Repair and Limits) Design team in the resolution of EagleNet cases raised by Aftermarket Operations

Required

Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field
Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills and experience to effectively communicate with audiences ranging from operations to the executive level
Requires substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems to provide enhancements within job area
Professional technical contributor
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
10% Travel

Preferred

Advanced degree and/or experience in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering
A working knowledge of SAP, P&W Quality Systems, configuration management process
