Sr International Tax Analyst - Hybrid

Harley-Davidson Motor Company is seeking a Senior International Tax Analyst to perform day-to-day tax compliance functions for U.S. and international tax components. The role involves maintaining tax systems, preparing and reviewing various tax returns, and supporting tax audits and projects.

Responsibilities

Prepare US taxable income calculations, global tax provisions, balance sheet rollforward schedules, non-US income tax return review, return-to-provision calculations, tax footnote preparation, and income inclusion calculations
Analysis of tax accounts and assistance with the budgeting/forecasting process, intercompany pricing, and transfer pricing reports, and transfer pricing monitoring files
Work seamlessly across all areas of income tax to prepare workpapers, document procedures, and maintain tax systems
Prepare annual state, local, federal, and US income tax returns [Forms 5471] required for international affiliates
Review international corporate income tax returns, provide data and analysis to service providers preparing local corporate income tax deliverables, review corporate income tax returns, review transfer pricing reports, and other deliverables from service providers
Support Tax Management by leading or scheduling calls with local service providers and local finance teams relating to tax compliance and reporting
Prepare journal entries, check requests, and research tax payments or other specific data to resolve tax correspondence from tax authorities
Prepare US domestic and international reporting for Bureau of Economic Analysis [BEA] Reporting, Forms W8BEN-E, apply for US residency certificates and other compliance and reporting items
Perform tax research, support corporate federal, state, and international income tax audits, and maintain tax systems and prepare audit-ready workpapers that meet internal control requirements
Support all levels of income tax audits and assist with internal control documentation and SOX Tax controls
Support any tax functional needs determined by Tax Management and continuously improve processes, procedures, and responsibilities related to the Senior Tax Analyst role that enhance tax provision, tax compliance, tax audit documentation, and tax reporting

Required

Bachelor's Degree Required
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, such as Accounting, Finance, or related field
3 years of related experience is required for this position
Strong business, communication, organization, and analytical skills are required
Ability to collect, evaluate, and organize multiple sources of data from various sources and use tax technology tools to prepare corporate income tax returns, tax provisions, and related tax workpapers
Ability to organize information and tax workpapers to effectively communicate conclusions through appropriate use of spreadsheets, presentations, memos, and tax technology reports
Must be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task [efficiently manage multiple priorities and handle medium-to-complex projects] in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy, using prior experience to solve complex technical issues and help to further develop tax expertise
A self-starter who is execution and precision-focused and effectively navigates in a large organization and coordinates with multiple stakeholders in order to drive projects and assigned work to completion with limited supervision
Demonstrates strong accountability for assigned tasks and work product responsibility in a hybrid work environment by providing consistent updates to the Tax Team and direct reporting manager

Preferred

Familiarity with CorpTax Compliance, CorpTax Provision, Alteryx, Bloomberg Fixed Assets, and SAP consolidation and reporting tools and modules
Experience and knowledge of the global motorcycle market or a similar consumer industry preferred
International experience desired
