Responsibilities
Lead and expand the tax practice for the Raleigh partner firm, with responsibility for growth, client service, and team leadership
Deliver high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to entrepreneurial businesses, family offices, and high-net-worth individuals
Drive practice growth through expansion of services to existing clients and proactive business development
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insight on complex tax issues and structuring opportunities
Recruit, mentor, and inspire a high-performing tax team, fostering a collaborative and growth-focused culture
Work closely with leadership team and shared services functions to leverage technology, innovation, and best practices across the platform
Qualification
Required
Active CPA license required
10+ years of progressive experience in business taxation, ideally with a Big 4, large national, or regional firm
Demonstrated success leading client engagements and growing a practice
Strong client relationship skills and a reputation for delivering exceptional service
Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop teams
Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a growth-oriented environment
Must have experience with Individual High Net Tax returns and Business Entity Tax
