They are seeking a Quality Assurance Technician who will perform quality control checks on products to ensure they meet standards for safety, efficiency, and quality, while also reporting on product quality and efficiencies to the Quality team.

Responsibilities

Maintain Quality Assurance Department records, both hard copy and electronic copy

Perform simple quality tests, casting/pasting inspections, curing released, voltage, gravity, etc

Perform acid receiving analysis and load acceptance

Perform battery autopsy analysis and identify failure modes

Assists QA Engineer with data collection and analysis

Understand the battery manufacturing process from receiving through shipping

Review circuit tending paperwork

Troubleshoot any conditions that adversely affect product quality

Make recommendations for adjusting equipment

Fully perform QA procedures in all plant and shipping areas

Perform electrical testing/analysis of all battery types

Responsible individual with strong work ethic

Available for various shifts, and overtime
