InternLilly Pulitzer is a brand that inspires confidence and optimism, and they are seeking a Technical Design Intern to assist in developing technical design specification packages for finished goods. The intern will work closely with Technical Design Leads and Fashion Design to support product development, ensuring the execution of the designer's intent.
Textiles
Responsibilities
Note taking during fittings and other meetings
Measuring garments
Tracking samples and scheduling fittings
Analyzes garment construction
Validates Vendor Pattern back to block or reference pattern
Technical flat sketching
Spend time reviewing merchandise through e-commerce and retail channels to understand the customers feedback regarding fit and construction
Communicates clearly and concisely
Accountable for adhering to all processes, procedures, and standards
Meet all assigned dates in the Lilly Pulitzer® Product Development Calendar
Qualification
Required
Working toward a four-year college degree
Proficiency and comfort in the use of technology to support Technical Design
The Centric® PLM System. Training will be provided
The Pattern Design System Module of Accumark®. Training will be provided
Adobe Suite of software including Illustrator and Acrobat
Basic computer skills, such as Outlook®, Word®, and Excel® in a Microsoft Windows® environment
Preferred
Major/minor in Fashion Design
