Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Guiding multiple electrical subsystems and their components from concept to final installation
Drive the team through architecture and requirements discussions
Hardware component selection and design (including PCB and FPGA)
Testing (design verification and qualification)
Integration, all while adhering to schedule and budget constraints
Effectively communicate with other disciplines and program management

Qualification

Required

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field
Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required

Preferred

Ahead of technology trends with Research & Development (R&D) experience, as well as advanced proficiency in test, troubleshooting, and analyzing circuit card schematics
Motivated to drive innovation around design architectures, assembly, component selection, and electronics design
Exceptional collaboration and communication skills with demonstrated success leading design teams for complex projects
Team player committed to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
Knowledge of implementation of hardware encryption algorithms
