Responsibilities
Lead the development and implementation of Digital Information Architecture strategies, including data models, reference data, normalization, taxonomies/ontologies, metadata schemas, lineage maps, and systems of record
Translate user, governance, and analytics/ML requirements into actionable data architecture solutions that drive engagement, trust, and insight
Establish and maintain metadata and specification governance in partnership with Content, Product, and Merchandising teams
Collaborate across functions to align architecture strategies with digital initiatives, e-commerce goals, and AI/ML-powered solutions
Apply best practices in product data governance to ensure data is discoverable, high-quality, and strategically aligned
Support AI/ML and emerging technology initiatives such as semantic search, ML classification, and conversational AI systems
Qualification
Required
4+ years shaping product data ecosystems for digital products or e-commerce
Proven success designing and implementing taxonomies, ontologies, metadata schemas, lineage maps, and systems of record
Strong ability to translate complex business requirements into clear architectural solutions for both technical and non-technical audiences
Familiarity with AI/ML content solutions and ability to align data strategies with emerging technologies
Proven success influencing stakeholders, aligning cross-functional teams, and driving impactful digital solutions
Comfortable working in user-centric, Agile environments
Bachelor's degree in Information Science or related field required
Preferred
Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CDMP)
