Responsibilities

Effectively manages Mercy's strategic initiatives
Oversees implementation of System policies and procedures
Monitors and manages financial performance of the clinics
Holds regular meetings with co-workers & physicians
Assists in the recruitment and retention of new physicians and mid-level providers
Serves as an interface and information disseminator among the various departments within the Health System
Conducts on an annual basis at least one review of the pricing, coding, collections, purchasing and personnel policies and performance of each clinic. These reviews will be completed with the assistance of a specialist within the Health System
Oversees development of annual operating and capital budgets for each clinic
Monitors the quality of patient care rendered in the clinics
Coordinates continuing education for physicians and non-physician personnel in the clinics
Oversees the supervision of the day-to-day operations of the clinics

Required

Five (5) years of healthcare leadership experience for those meeting degree requirements
In lieu of degree, 10 years of leadership experience in an applicable healthcare setting
HS diploma and Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to communicate clearly and establish and maintain working relationships with physicians, staff and the public
Ability to organize
Able to meet deadlines
Self-motivated
Ability to analyze balance sheets and income statements
Experience in managing accounts receivable
Working knowledge of CLIA, OSHA, NCQA and other accrediting bodies
