Responsibilities
Performing testing on low, medium, and high voltage breakers including Megger, Ductor, Hi-Pot, Hi-Current, and Timing tests
Completing mechanical work and repairs on breakers, including tear down, refurbishment and parts replacement
Painting breakers and parts
Wiring circuit breakers
Utilizing and accurately reading meters
Reading schematics and wiring drawings
Troubleshooting circuit breaker controls
Reading and plotting time-current curves
Testing power and current transformers, including Power Factor and TTR
Accurately and consistently documenting using Power DB
Able to work with electrical tools and socket sets
Qualification
Required
5 years' related experience in substations, power plants, primary power distribution and related protection and control schemes
Minimum 2 years of substation power systems experience
Education: High School Diploma
Reference and complete assignments as described in applicable specifications
Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors
Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Ability to communicate effectively in English (inclusive of reading and writing) due to the nature of safety-related materials, documentation, and interactions with clients
Valid Driver's license and good driving record

Licensures and Certifications: NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred
