The Litigation Attorney will handle litigation matters, engage with clients, draft legal documents, and manage multiple cases while collaborating with colleagues.
Responsibilities
Handle litigation matters independently or as part of a team
Engage in client interaction, case strategy, and court appearances
Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Take depositions (preferred but not mandatory)
Work across multiple practice areas, gaining exposure to diverse legal challenges
Manage multiple case priorities with a strong focus on deadlines
Collaborate with colleagues and senior attorneys while also taking initiative independently
Qualification
Required
Must be licensed to practice in West Virginia
Exceptional writing, analytical, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and cases simultaneously
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Self-starter with initiative to learn and expand into new practice areas
Preferred
Second license in Ohio is strongly preferred
Take depositions (preferred but not mandatory)
1–5+ years of litigation experience (depositions a plus)
