Responsibilities

Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals

Lead digital transformation initiatives and drive innovation

Collaborate with VP of IT and Chief Technology Officer to align IT with actionable deliverables

Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud platforms)

Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity

Manage hardware and software deployments

Collaborate with the Information Security team to improve the overall security controls

Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and data protection laws

Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning

Assist the VP of IT in supervising daily IT operations and service delivery

Promotion and enhance internal IT service level agreement

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues

Implement and improve IT service management (ITSM) processes

Maintain current systems and identify opportunities for upgrades

Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Conduct performance evaluations and assist VP of IT on team development

Optimize IT spending and resource allocation

Liaise with other departments to understand and support their technology needs

Ensure IT integration across business functions (HR, retail, lending, finance, operations)

Communicate IT strategies and initiatives across all levels of the organization

Lead IT projects from conception to completion

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements

Establish KPIs and metrics to measure IT performance and impact
