The role involves transforming how the company scopes, plans, and delivers work, ensuring effective product operations processes and facilitating various planning and review meetings.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain product operations processes including intake, requirements definition, sprint planning, and roadmap management

Create and facilitate rituals that ensure engineers understand scope, context, and business value before committing to work

Implement work-in-progress limits, dependency tracking, and capacity planning to enable parallel initiative execution

Build and maintain roadmap infrastructure with clear Now/Next/Later visibility across the organization

Run quarterly and monthly planning cycles that produce realistic timelines and firm delivery commitments

Facilitate initiative kickoffs, sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and review meetings

Track and communicate program status, risks, and delivery timelines to stakeholders at all levels

Establish baseline team velocity through data collection and metrics tracking

Design and implement definition of done, bug triage processes, and sprint closure practices

Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and process iteration based on team feedback and results
