Bluestone Bank has been providing secure financial solutions in Southern New England for over 150 years. The Commercial Credit Underwriter will analyze financial data and assess the creditworthiness of commercial clients, completing the underwriting of loan requests and extensions of credit.

Responsibilities

Analyzes loan data and financial information on new, renewal and existing loans, including data provided by credit bureaus, other financial institutions and Bank files
Completes Credit Memo/Underwriting of requests for commercial credit, remote deposit capture, and ACH customers with the Bank
Prepares spreadsheets, reports, summaries and opinions for Bank Officers on new, renewal and existing loans
Assigns risk ratings to each borrower of the bank
Provides technical support to loan officers as needed
Assumes additional responsibilities as requested

Qualification

Credit analysis experienceFinancial analytical abilitiesBachelor’s degree in financeProficient in MS ExcelCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, finance or accounting
Two or more years of credit analysis experience, or at least one year as a Jr. Commercial Credit Analyst
Good financial analytical abilities; detailed oriented
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in MS Word & Excel
