Summer 2026 Education & Workplace Justice Intern (Law Student)

The National Women’s Law Center (NWLC) is seeking a legal intern for Summer 2026 to support their Education and Workplace Justice portfolios. The intern will conduct legal research, draft written materials, represent NWLC at various events, and perform other necessary tasks.

Responsibilities

Conduct legal research and analysis, for both short-term assignments and longer research projects
Draft written materials, such as factsheets, blogs, talking points, and legislative testimony
Represent NWLC at various coalition meetings, events, briefings, webinars, or calls
Perform other tasks as needed

Required

Current enrollment in, and completion of at least one year of, a JD program
Strong legal research and writing skills, including excellent analytical, oral, and written communications skills
Experience working on gender justice issues with an intersectional lens
Demonstrated experience and judgment working both collaboratively and independently
Flexibility, creativity, and initiative along with excellent organizational, planning, and project management skills
