Entry Level Business Development Representative (Solid Waste Industry)
Varwyne Talent Collective is seeking an Entry/Junior Level Business Development Representative for their client in the solid waste industry located in Rockport, Texas. The role focuses on driving revenue through relationship-building and consultative selling while managing territory development and client accounts.

Responsibilities
Identify and target new commercial accounts through cold calling, networking, referrals, and market research
Assess customer waste management needs and recommend customized service solutions (recycling programs, roll-off containers, scheduled pickups)
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction while identifying upsell opportunities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue goals
Prepare pricing proposals, present service agreements, and negotiate contract terms to close new business
Partner with operations, customer service, and billing teams to ensure smooth service implementation
Stay informed about competitor activity, industry trends, and regulatory changes to refine sales strategies
Qualification
Required
1--2 years of experience in Sales, Hospitality, or Customer Service
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the territory
Reliable transportation
