Responsibilities
The Senior Editor will become an essential component of the College Division. The Senior Editor will work closely with the College Admissions Team’s Consultants to assist with brainstorming, outlining, condensing, and proofreading student essays. The Senior Editor will also be responsible for creating marketing and advertising materials
The Senior Editor will be responsible for providing mentorship, training, and guidance to ensure consistent quality of work. The Senior Editor will also support recruitment by evaluating and interviewing applicants for the college division
Qualification
Required
Exceptional English verbal and written skills with a strong grip on grammar
Graduated from a 4-year degree program in either English, Literature, Journalism, Education, or related fields. Graduates from other fields are encouraged to apply, but written samples will be heavily scrutinized
Portfolio with a minimum of three written samples (one creative piece and one research sample are encouraged)
Can edit and write skillfully without the use of AI tools
Minimum of 5–10 years of editing experience in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
A high level of energy and sociability
Exceptional writing ability
Apply relentless dedication to delivering results
Proficiency in Google Workspace
Preferred
Experience working during PST hours is preferred but not required
Experience providing editorial feedback, coaching, and quality review for junior editors and writers is strongly preferred
