Cornerstone Advisors is seeking an experienced Implementation Consultant to lead conversion and implementation projects for banks and credit unions. This role focuses on project management and requires a deep understanding of financial institution operations, partnering with clients to ensure successful system conversions.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage end-to-end system conversion projects for banks and credit unions
Serve as the primary liaison between clients, internal teams, and external vendors
Oversee project plans, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
Conduct needs analyses to understand client requirements, workflows, and operational impacts
Support data migration, validation, and testing activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
Provide subject-matter expertise on banking operations and system functionality
Identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions throughout the project lifecycle
Deliver training and documentation to help clients successfully adopt new systems

Required

Bachelor's degree
At least 5 years of conversion project management experience with banks, credit unions, vendors, or consulting firms
OR a combination of 2 years in project management and 3 years in financial institution or bank back-office operations
Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-phase projects with financial institutions

Preferred

PMP or CBAP certification
Prior consulting experience
Hands-on banking or credit union operational experience (deposit ops, lending ops, back office, etc.)
