Stewardship & Foundation Relations Director

Ministry HR Group is partnering with a Christ-centered international nonprofit that has been transforming lives for more than 60 years. The Stewardship & Foundation Relations Director will nurture relationships with donors and foundation partners, focusing on engagement, transparency, and leading the grant administration strategy.

Human Resources

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive donor stewardship plan
Manage donor acknowledgment processes and produce impact reports
Collaborate with Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning, Marketing and program teams to craft meaningful donor stories and updates
Oversee donor recognition efforts and partner with major gifts staff on personalized engagement
Lead the organization’s foundation relations and grant strategy—from prospecting to reporting
Manage the full grant lifecycle: proposal development, compliance, and renewal tracking
Coordinate data collection with MBF’s Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning for information from program and finance
Maintain a grants calendar and strengthen relationships with foundation partners
Ensure accurate and timely data entry in Salesforce
Track stewardship metrics and donor retention trends
Support leadership with donor follow-up and management processes
Foster a culture of gratitude and philanthropy throughout the organization
Provide training and guidance on best practices for donor and funder stewardship
Contribute creative ideas to enhance recognition and reporting systems
Serving marketing and development by collecting stories, statistics, and photos via Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

Required

Bachelor's degree in communications, nonprofit management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2-5 years of experience in donor relations, grants management, or nonprofit fundraising
Proven experience managing grants from proposal through reporting
Strong writing, storytelling, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with donor databases (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or similar)
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative
Active participation in a local church consistent with the organization's Statement of Faith
