Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with division supply chain team to reduce chronic shortages and systematic issues within the supply base
Leads Cross Functional HPT to create Work Transfer velocity and reduce chronic shortages
Provides oversight and leadership to division/contract field resources in support of the objectives of the cross functional HPT
Represent the division and collaborate with peers at other divisions and group
Proactively work with Division Supply Chain Team to seek out continuous improvement opportunities
Demonstrate strong leadership skills thru engaging suppliers and peers to achieve common goals
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time
Collaborates with the business unit or division to establish preferred supplier selection criteria based on evaluations of supplier price, quality, delivery, certifications, and compliance with governmental procurement regulations
Works with suppliers to develop and manage continuous improvement programs, addressing quality, delivery, service as well as price
Develops and benchmarks best practices among the Divisions suppliers and maintain accurate measurements and records for evaluation of suppliers

Required

Bachelor's Degree (4 Year) in Supply Chain or Operations Management, Business, Engineering or Other
Experience working in or with Operations, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing disciplines is a plus
Demonstrated teamwork and team building skills in producing results and meeting organizational objectives
Capable of assessing and developing individual and team skills and capabilities
Able to create and maintain enthusiasm for new and challenging goals
Serve as a role model by promoting new ideas and positive change
Thorough understanding of production technology, and/or specialty support areas including broad knowledge of business and regulatory environments and trends
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% of time

Preferred

Technical Engineering Degree preferred
Advanced degree such as MBA preferred
