Responsibilities

Working in a multi-disciplinary market to provide technical expertise to a variety of water resources projects including site planning and design, water distribution and storage, sanitary and storm sewer conveyance, combined sewer overflow control, stormwater management and green infrastructure, and flood resiliency, floodplain restoration, and flood control

As a Senior engineer, you will be leading field investigations, alternatives analysis, technical reports, and designs to deliver high quality work products and contract documents, as well as providing mentoring and coaching to early career engineers to enhance their technical and project execution skills

In addition to design, you will be supporting business development and branding activities, including client presentations, conference and technical association participation, and supporting written proposals and interview presentations, which will further strengthen your technical and communication skills, recognize your contributions to the projects, and further develop your professional network and brand with stakeholders, clients, and project teams

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering

8+ years of qualifying engineering experience in the engineering/design field

Deep knowledge of engineering fundamentals

Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, with the ability to guide others

Proficiency in understanding hydraulic and hydrologic model results and utilizing the information

Ability to work remotely with colleagues and collaboratively with project teams

Efficient time management skills

Strong mentoring skills

Proactive communication

Ability to adapt to working on a variety of projects

Preferred

Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, NYS preferred
