$25.89/hr - $35/hrAtlantic Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst. The ideal candidate will manage payroll processes, ensure accuracy in payroll calculations, and maintain compliance with regulations while collaborating with HR and Finance departments.

Responsibilities
Process and manage payroll using systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, UltiPro, Kronos, Ceridian, and PeopleSoft
Ensure accurate data entry for employee hours, benefits, deductions, and tax information
Perform account reconciliation related to payroll transactions and general ledger entries
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax requirements
Prepare journal entries for payroll-related transactions and assist with month-end closing activities
Support benefits administration including enrollment, deductions, and reporting
Conduct analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors and resolve issues promptly
Assist with accounts payable and receivable related to payroll expenses
Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions for audit purposes
Collaborate with HR on HRIS updates and employee data management
Support governmental reporting requirements related to payroll taxes
Qualification
Required
Proven experience working with payroll management systems such as Workday, ADP, Paychex, Kronos, UltiPro, Ceridian, or PeopleSoft
Strong knowledge of accounting software including QuickBooks and other financial software tools
Familiarity with corporate accounting practices such as general ledger accounting, double entry bookkeeping, journal entries, debits & credits
Demonstrated ability to perform account reconciliation and analysis skills
Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy (10 key typing skills) and attention to detail
Understanding of tax regulations related to payroll processing and reporting
Strong analytical skills combined with technical accounting expertise are essential for success in this role
Preferred
Experience in benefits administration and non-profit or governmental accounting is a plus
Knowledge of human resources functions related to payroll processing is advantageous
