Responsibilities

Supporting design and development of transmitters, receivers or exciters

Experience designing and optimizing RF circuits – either chains of components (receiver, exciter, etc.) or individual parts (filters, limiters, couplers, etc.)

Working in a lab to accomplish component characterization as well as module verification and integration of sensitive RF Hardware

Supporting design of circuit and assemblies (CCAs) with RF or mixed signals

Schematic capture and detailed design

Provide engineering support through participation in project design reviews, peer reviews, briefings to internal leadership and external customers for all phases of development tasks

Required

Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major

Experience and/or coursework in Electronics and electromagnetics

Experience and/or coursework in Analog or RF design

Laboratory experience with electronics

This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)

Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

DoD Clearance: Secret

Preferred

ABET is the preferred, although not required accreditation standard

3.0 cumulative GPA desired

Solid background and practical understanding of RF electronics design considerations (to include experience or relevant course work)

Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Xpedition xDX Designer, System Vision, MATLAB, MathCad, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) and Advanced Design System (ADS)
