Responsibilities

Support all phases of the design process across multiple product categories
Participate in user observation, interviews, testing and help synthesize information into insights
Create storyboards to help communicate products that blend digital, physical, and service experiences
Positively contribute to design reviews and other team-wide design efforts
Collaborate with product management and engineering to maintain design intent
Explore consistent application of Vivint design language system

Required

Degree discipline: Industrial Design or Product Design
Must have completed second year of college with a portfolio of Product Design or Industrial Design work that showcases skillset
Knowledge of human-centered design principles
Hands on! Ability to create quick mockups in multiple mediums for feedback from design team and users
Working knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software (SolidWorks and Keyshot)
Fluency in 2D design tools (e.g. Procreate, Illustrator, Photoshop, Figma)
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes
Self-motivated to complete week over week actions and deliverables
Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
