Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers
Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems
Review system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups
Analyze network and server resource consumption and control user access
Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses
May assist in network modeling, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software
Install, configure, and maintain LAN/WAN systems and servers
Manage user access, data backups, and patching
Monitor network health and implement cybersecurity standards
Support disaster recovery and system continuity initiatives
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in system or network administration for Junior level
6+ years of experience in system or network administration for Journeyman level
10+ years of experience in system or network administration for Senior level
Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
Secret security clearance (must be a US Citizen)
Preferred
DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
