Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on companies, industries, markets, and technologies using a wide range of online tools and databases
Support strategic initiatives by synthesizing research findings into concise, actionable intelligence reports
Collaborate with Business Development, Marketing, Firm & Practice Management, and Leadership to fulfill research requests
Conduct competitive benchmarking to evaluate firm performance and uncover strategic opportunities for differentiation
Maintain current awareness through news and additional alerts to identify trends and opportunities
Assist with the testing and deployment of innovative technology solutions, including AI tools
Stay current on legal industry trends and emerging technologies
Support the development of best practices and contribute to team knowledge sharing
Perform additional research and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Ability to conduct deep research and synthesize findings into meaningful insights
Strong written and verbal communication skills; professionalism in handling confidential information
Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally
Willingness to learn new tools and practices; ability to meet deadlines under pressure
Analytical thinking and initiative in identifying solutions
Sound judgment and composure in a fast-paced environment
Valid authorization to work in the U.S
Preferred
Library Science, Business, or related field preferred
3–5 years of experience in a research, competitive intelligence, or information services role (law firm or professional services environment preferred)
Familiarity with research tools commonly used in law firms
Basic understanding of legal practice areas in a full-service firm
