Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end design, development, and optimization of data pipelines and ETL processes
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions using Databricks and AWS services
Oversee development best practices, coding standards, and CI/CD processes within the data engineering team
Manage and mentor team members working in the Databricks environment
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Architects, Product Owners, and Scrum teams
Drive technical decisions, solutioning, and issue resolution across data platforms
Lead sprint planning, estimation, and delivery timelines in an Agile/Scrum environment
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory frameworks within Pharma/Healthcare

Required

10+ years of Data Engineering and ETL development experience
8+ years of hands-on ETL, core data warehouse, or big data application development
5+ years of AWS cloud architecture and service integration experience
3+ years working on the Databricks platform (design, development, and optimization)
Strong understanding of data engineering design principles, development best practices, and performance tuning
Experience in Pharma/Healthcare data environments is MUST
2+ years of technical lead experience managing development teams
Proven ability to manage and guide teams within a Databricks environment

Preferred

Databricks certification preferred
