Responsibilities
Lead and direct a team of Legal Claims Professionals handling low to high exposure Public D&O, Fiduciary and Transactional Liability
Coordinate the work activities of the team
Responsible for performance, development, and coaching of staff
Act as a technical resource for the team
Manage internal and external customer relationships
Interact to exchange timely information with upstream claim managers, line of business underwriters, actuaries and finance
Develop, maintain and service broker and account relationships
Work across other Financial Lines teams as needed
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor and 5 or more years of experience in the Claims area OR
Bachelors Degree and 6 or more years of experience in the Claims area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 8 or more years of experience in the Claims area
Customer service experience
Experience with Microsoft Office
Experience collaborating across work groups
Knowledge of insurance legal statutes and procedures
Knowledge of the insurance industry, claims and the insurance legal and regulatory environment
Travel 0-20%
Preferred
Negotiation experience

In-depth knowledge of the insurance industry, claims and the insurance legal and regulatory environment
