Senior Account Executive - Health Tech / Life Sciences
Simplex is a Pre-Series A AI-powered health expert marketplace that connects health tech innovators with a global network of vetted clinicians and operators. They are seeking a Senior Account Executive focused on driving net-new revenue in health tech and life sciences through hands-on deal execution, aiming to hit a $1.5M new-business quota by closing deals personally.
Responsibilities
Hit $1.5M in annual closed revenue, with 80%+ from net-new accounts in health tech, life sciences, medical devices, and AI/tech companies
Prospect and close full sales cycles using HubSpot CRM with 5K+ prospects
Sell platform access (with fees), hourly expert calls, fractional talent (cash cow), and 25% FTE placement fees
Generate pipeline via outbound outreach, conferences, and social selling; track activities daily for urgency and detail
Collaborate with founder/CEO on deal strategy while owning execution from discovery to close
Qualification
Required
5–10 years quota-carrying B2B sales in health tech, life sciences, or med devices, beating $1M+ personal quotas via new logos
Existing, leverageable network of decision-makers and influencers at health tech, life sciences, med device, or large tech companies building in healthcare (Meta, Google, Oracle, IBM, etc) and the ability to walk into live opportunities quickly
Proven closer of services alongside software (e.g., expert networks, fractional talent, placements); comfortable selling people and platforms
Hungry 'lone wolf' hunter: heads-down focus on deals, thrives in startups with no marketing support, resilient to pivots and try/fail cycles
Existing network overlap in healthcare for quick wins; self-starter closing deals in 60 days
Detail-oriented: updates CRM hourly, bias to action, money motivated
