Senior Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Architect
Amentum is a trusted partner to United States government agencies and allied governments, and they are seeking a Senior Level M&S Architect to support key programs at NSWC Crane. The role involves designing and leading the development of modeling and simulation toolsets to enhance mission planning and execution for military scenarios.

Responsibilities
Decompose military mission scenarios into logical threads that can be represented with digital models
Plan and design M&S toolsets to predict mission stressors and wargaming outcomes
Plan and design computer processing and cybersecurity protocol to run M&S toolsets
Plan and design data analysis and visualization of M&S results
Lead a development team to build and integrate M&S toolsets
Review and approve technical documentation and design changes
Test the fidelity of M&S toolsets
Orchestrate M&S toolsets to run virtual wargaming events
Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in an engineering job or scientific research job
5+ years of experience integrating digital models to predict system-of-systems performance
1+ years of experience working in a secure integrated data environment
Familiar with (or similar): AFSIM, ITASE, Matlab, Python, SysML models
Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited engineering program, or computer science major, or mathematics major
Must have an Active US Government Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI US Government Clearance. Please note US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret/ TS/SCI Clearance
Preferred
Experience in a systems engineering job or mission engineering job
Experience with military mission scenario modeling
Experience testing digital models or software products
Experience with radar, electronic surveillance, and radio datalinks
Experience with missile guidance and missile countermeasures
