Responsibilities

Manage large-scale IT operational fleet projects (shipboard) from inception through handover to the Deployment Team for execution
Coordinate cross-team efforts, manage business and IT expectations, scope definition, scope management, and documentation
Validate budgets, oversee procurement processes, facilitate design conversations, and obtain sign-off
Communicate project progress and details with senior management through discussions and formal presentations
Define and drive project schedules, manage vendors, and align project goals with IT strategic technology and process goals
Support deployment activities as needed, including planning and delivery of IT scope for Dry Docks

Qualification

Infrastructure project managementPMP certificationMS Projects proficiencyWaterfall project methodologiesTeam building skillsPerformance evaluation skillsCommunication skillsProblem-solving skills

Required

3-5+ years of infrastructure project management experience
Familiarity with project methodologies in a Waterfall environment
Understanding of Enterprise Technologies and their application
Proficiency in MS Projects or similar tools
Strong problem-solving and issue resolution skills
Excellent communication skills for business presentations and large audience discussions
HR skills, including team building, performance evaluations, coaching, and problem-solving
Willingness to travel (10%-25%)
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds

Preferred

PMP certification
Previous shipboard experience
Experience managing large, complex projects
