Responsibilities

Carries out tasks as assigned by Project Engineers and the Engineering Manager. Tasks would generally be focused on technical issues

Responsible for learning and assisting with the installation engineering of subsea hardware utilizing light construction vessels with ROV and Divers

Conduct engineering calculations and analysis

Calculations will include hand calculations and/or engineering calculation software

Analysis will include both beam element and dynamic motion analysis

CAD 2D and 3D drafting of project deliverables

Assist in preparing presentations, articles, and technical papers

Interface inside and outside a meeting setting with project team members and clients

Travel to other worksites such as Morgan City, La and Port Fourchon, La in support of projects

Required

Upcoming 3rd or 4th year undergraduate student at an accredited University, pursuing a degree in Structural, Mechanical, or Ocean Engineering or equivalent

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Experience with AutoCad and Microsoft Office

Experience with Solidworks or equivalent 3D modeling software

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future
