Responsibilities

You will supervise several different trades and ensure the effective and efficient management of the planned workload projects assigned to the Temporary Services Division
You will plan the use of workers, equipment, facilities, materials and tools provided through assigned units of work
You will conduct job briefings and readiness reviewing accordance with the applicable nuclear refueling/defueling instructions
You will monitor the status of assigned work in relation to the overall scheduled requirements including unanticipated or emergency requirements
You will perform regular job supervision, paying particular attention to conformance to procedures and processes and established performance goals
You will take appropriate action to prevent or overcome bottlenecks, equipment and power breakdowns

Required

Must be a US Citizen
Must be determined suitable for federal employment
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program

You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift
Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present
You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements
You must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position
Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the job elements
