The Imaging Informatics Assistant is responsible for supporting Radiologists and clinical staff in managing clinical images and results, ensuring efficient operations and communication.

Responsibilities

Assisting the Radiologists and clinical staff in the day-to-day operations relating to the acquisition, storage, routing, and retrieval of clinical images and results
Maintaining knowledge of software applications, downtime procedures, image routing, storage, and retrieval
Facilitating communication to providers, clinical staff and other customers
Monitoring PACS, EHR, and PowerShare work lists and assisting Radiologists and clinical staff as needed

Required

High school graduate or equivalent (GED) or higher degree required
One year of relevant customer service or health care experience required
Excellent oral and written communication skills; advanced problem-solving skills
Professional phone skills and experience
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
Ability to function efficiently and professionally with minimum supervision
Ability to sit 8-12 hours per day
Ability to read and correctly pronounce medical terminology
Must have good computer skills to understand, navigate, and enter data on multiple IT systems and Radiology-centric systems
Must be able to multitask and handle acute situations during stressful and busy periods; task completion with accuracy is critical
