Program Support Specialist

Responsibilities
Serving as a Contract Officer's Representative (COR) performing pre-award and post-award functions on a variety of contract types to evaluate quotes, bids and proposals for compliance, cost and regulatory requirements
Analyzing and evaluating contractor price and cost proposal for new procurement, contract modifications, and price redeterminations
Supporting the development and monitoring of annual budget spending plans for program administrative expenses
Ensuring accurate tracking, and allocation of funds align with management priorities
Preparing expenditure projections for the budget year to advise management on funding statuses
Establishing and maintaining working relationships with executives, activity leadership and representatives from internal and external agencies to collaborate to support organizational objectives
Qualification
Required
Must be a U.S. Citizen
Must be registered or exempt from the Selective Service
All selected applicants must undergo and successfully pass a background investigation
This position requires a Public Trust clearance
Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by the closing date of the vacancy
All Federal employees are required to have Federal salary payments made by direct deposit
Your resume must demonstrate at least one (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal sector
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position
Education can not be substituted for experience at this grade level
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs
