Sentara Health is hiring an Operations Coordinator for the Specialty Pharmacy at Norfolk General Hospital. The Operations Coordinator provides daily support to the operations of the department and administrative support to the Leader, ensuring effective communication and customer service in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

Performs administrative tasks to include providing customer service through phone and personal interactions

Responsible for correspondence , scheduling meetings, preparing departmental reports, statistics and file maintenance

Prepares and processes accounts payable, payroll, employee mileage reimbursement claims and operational information

Responsible for supply ordering and charge entry

Performs technical support and administrative support to department staff

Qualification

Virginia Pharmacy Tech LicenseCPhT LicensePharmacy Tech ExperienceClerical ExperienceCustomer Service Skills

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Virginia Pharmacy Tech License

CPhT License (Received through the NHA or PTCB)

2 Years Clerical Experience

2 Years of Pharmacy Tech Experience
