Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain high-performance Postgres database environments

Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues

Implement database security best practices and ensure data integrity

Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement database solutions

Manage database backups and recovery procedures

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Postgres database technology

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

US Citizen

Active Secret Clearance Required

Possession of Security+ or equivalent

Proven experience as a Postgres database administrator or SME

Advanced knowledge of Postgres database administration, including configuration, tuning, and monitoring

Proficiency in SQL and PL/pgSQL programming

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred

Relevant certifications (e.g., PostgreSQL Certified Professional) a plus
