Walmart Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Engineering Manager to lead the design, development, delivery, and continuous improvement of Walmart US SAP Payroll systems. This role involves guiding engineering teams, collaborating with HR/payroll business stakeholders, and delivering scalable payroll solutions.

Being hands on in the career of the associates that report to you. This involves hiring, providing growth opportunities, encouraging and mentoring engineers as well as providing timely feedback on their performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related area

7 years' experience in software engineering or related area

2 years' supervisory experience

20+ years of SAP functional and HR ABAP technical hands on expertise

Proven leadership in large-scale enterprise payroll transformations, system modernization, and cloud adoption strategies

Preferred

Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related area

Background in creating inclusive digital experiences

Demonstrating knowledge in implementing Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standards

Knowledge of assistive technologies and integrating digital accessibility seamlessly

Knowledge of accessibility best practices
