On-Call IT Field Technician - Amite City, Louisiana- Hiring NOW

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems
Resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems
Set up or troubleshoot Wi-Fi and wired internet connections
Replace or upgrade hardware (HDD, RAM, cooling fans, etc.)
Configure or connect printers and scanners (Canon, HP, Brother, etc.)
Address common printer error codes (e.g., ink absorber, paper feed, connectivity)
Perform general maintenance on multifunction printers (MFPs)
Reinstall operating systems using bootable USBs or recovery media
Install remote tools or shortcuts as requested
Communicate clearly with customers and provide basic post-service support
Document service visits and escalate complex issues as needed

Required

Ability to troubleshoot PCs and Macs
Experience resolving network issues
Skills in repairing or configuring printers/scanners
Knowledge of Canon MF printer network setup
Ability to handle G-series ink absorber error codes (e.g., 1700)
Experience diagnosing and repairing hardware/software issues on Windows and macOS systems
Ability to resolve boot errors, OS issues, and login problems
Skills in setting up or troubleshooting Wi-Fi and wired internet connections
Experience replacing or upgrading hardware (HDD, RAM, cooling fans, etc.)
Ability to configure or connect printers and scanners (Canon, HP, Brother, etc.)
Knowledge of common printer error codes (e.g., ink absorber, paper feed, connectivity)
Experience performing general maintenance on multifunction printers (MFPs)
Ability to reinstall operating systems using bootable USBs or recovery media
