Responsibilities
This role is ideally suited for someone that has a well developed entrepreneurial mindset that is willing to work closely with executive leadership to expand the footprint of the business by building strong and lasting relationships
This person will appreciate team work and value communication of any type that will provide for the very best service and engineering outcomes for their clients and teammates alike
Primary project types would consist of site and road design; hydraulic analysis; sanitary sewer and water main design; preparing permits (EGLE, etc.); and bid book and specification development
The role will provide oversite to project budgets and manage project teams, schedules and staff assignments and will mentor junior staff on projects scopes, budgets and staffing plans
This role is responsible for preparing successful proposals and overseeing project selection, and will attend workshops and meetings as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
PE in South Carolina
14+ years of relevant design and project management experience
Strong understanding of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation capabilities
Willingness to travel throughout South Carolina
Strong business development acumen
Superior communication skills
Ability to work closely with executive leadership
Entrepreneurial mindset
Comprehensive design background
Preferred
Experience in civil engineering, surveying, mapping, landscape architecture, planning, and land development
