Professional Education & Sales Training Specialist

The Professional Education & Sales Training Specialist will manage education and training projects, develop training content, and support professional education events, working closely with cross-functional teams to align with the company's priorities.

Responsibilities

Assist with assessment of current sales tools and previous programs to develop instructional goals, objectives, and curriculum for our Distributors
Support the development of training content, design, and delivery with subject matter experts to produce instructional materials in accordance with department/program objectives
Support and co-lead primary instructor-led training programs at PolyNovo: Distributor new hire training and ongoing e-learning programs and any additional training that becomes necessary as part of a strategic commercialization growth plan
Conduct “train the trainer” programs initially with our EU Distributors, with scope to support the MEA as our footprint expands
In support of our market share taking strategy in advanced wound and trauma markets, develop a cadence of training programs utilising in-person, virtual, and e-learning technologies
Support physician faculty in the peer-to-peer programs such as Symposia, Study Days and speaking engagements by managing all Key Opinion Leader (KOL) and Healthcare Professional (HCP) engagements, including communication, scheduling and documentation
Support Professional Education events with planning and attendance
Coordinate professional meetings and events to support departmental objectives
Assess trends, successes, and opportunities for improvement related to training and professional education and report to Sr. MSL & Prof. Ed Lead
Provide recommendations to improve efficiency and help achieve departmental goals
Manage projects to ensure successful execution of departmental initiatives
Monitor compliance with relevant regulations and report any deviations
Maintain knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing relevant publications; establishing professional social networks; involvement with applicable societies/associations
Ensure collaborative relationships with PolyNovo team members and external
Ensure all messaging is approved by Regulatory
Analysis of monthly sales results and trends and propose programs that help build a growing and sustainable business
Ensure all documentation is reviewed, current and compliant with the quality system
Operate within the requirements of the quality system and ensure responsibilities are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the applicable regulatory and quality processes
PolyNovo may require you to undertake additional responsibilities or work in other areas to those outlined in this role subject to business requirements and your skills and competencies
Able to travel as required up to 50%, including overnights and some weekends

Required

Bachelor's degree in science/healthcare or business required
1-3 years in medical device or healthcare sales required
Proven experience in program implementation, including planning and execution
Proven ability to manage complex projects, particularly those involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, and regulatory requirements
Demonstrated skill in prioritising and handling multiple assignments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Experience developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, including clinicians and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs)
Experience working effectively in ambiguous virtual settings, adapting to changing circumstances and needs
Strong collaborative skills, with a track record of working successfully within team environments
Experience coordinating professional meetings and events, ensuring smooth execution and effective communication
Capable of handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationship with co-workers, distributors, customers, and other stakeholders
Proven ability to take accountability for the quality and timeliness of work outputs while maintaining high personal and professional standards
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and within small team environments, self-starter with proactive problem-solving skills and strong personal initiative

Intermediate user of Microsoft Office products
Must be proficient in using Microsoft applications (e.g. Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.)

Preferred

Previous training experience preferred
Foreign language skills preferred (French, Spanish or German)
Experience attending OR cases and familiar with OR protocols a plus
