Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain our BillingCenter application and integration architecture
Develop new features to support multiple new product/state releases per year, in addition to, regular enhancement and hotfix releases
Partner with the DevOps team on establishing AWS CodePipelines
Assess the business impact that certain technical choices have
Qualification
Required
Expertise in RESTful web services architecture
Experience with implementing BillingCenter and integrating to third party services. Must have at least Guidewire BillingCenter Certified Specialist or higher certification
Programming experience in Java and Gosu
Experience with Jira, Jira Advanced Roadmaps, Confluence to manage tickets across multiple projects
Ability to organize and facilitate meetings across various stakeholders
Ability to present technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Ability to effectively plan and prioritize work activities
Able to provide an environment that encourages and develops new ideas from employees and management peers
Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience
At least five years Software Engineer related experience required
At least two years of BillingCenter implementation experience required
Advanced knowledge of the full software development life-cycle
Preferred
Property and Casualty Insurance domain knowledge
