Associate Autonomy Researcher

Responsibilities

Required

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical field
Familiarity with the language P
Demonstrated familiarity with optimization and applications to modeling and simulation
Demonstrated work involving autonomy architecture implementation and documentation
Demonstrated familiarity with Linux-based operating systems
Due to the nature of this position, U.S. Citizenship is required
Eligibility to obtain a United States SECRET clearance (or higher) is required for ongoing employment in this position

Preferred

Master's Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science
Demonstrated, successful experience (academic or professional) programming in algorithm level languages such as Matlab/Simulink, Python, C# or similar
Demonstrated experience performing research and technical work supporting DoD customers, including but not limited to AFRL
Research involving parallel distributed autonomy applications
Experience with using Linux shell scripting (bash, dash, ksh, etc.)
Demonstrated, effective interpersonal skills
