Responsibilities
Develop a suite of modern, real-time, high-performance React applications to support core rates and credit trading workflows
Drive full-stack solution design – collaborate with backend engineers to design and deliver end-to-end solutions
Engage directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, understand workflows and rapidly deliver impactful features that improve business efficiency
Qualification
Required
Solid Core Java Skills with a good understanding of Java fundamentals, including object-oriented programming, collections, exception handling and concurrency programming
Distributed Systems and Event-Driven Architecture; Experience with microservice concepts and frameworks, including event-driven architectures, with a desire to build deeper expertise
Integration, application programming interface (API) Development and Databases; Experience in designing, building and deploying RESTful and event-driven APIs, with foundational knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) and relational database design, plus exposure to containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
Appreciation of Front-End Technologies – Awareness of user interface (UI) constraints and experience with React and Typescript is a plus
Preferred
Experience with reactive programming models is a plus
Champion solid engineering and software development life cycle (SDLC) practices - requirements/analysis, design patterns, code reviews, automated testing, secure by design implementation, and controlled releases
Collaborate with a global engineering team to develop modern solutions as part of tech transformation
