Responsibilities

Provide exceptional guest service at the meat counter and on the sales floor, including fulfilling special orders and answering product questions
Maintain fresh, well-stocked displays by inspecting, rotating, and replenishing meat products and supplies
Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively engage with guests, leaders, and retail sales associates. Utilize strong written and verbal skills to work with a crew in a fast-paced environment
Food Safety: A willingness to learn food safety standards, proper equipment usage (like slicers), and inventory practices
Ability to Multitask and stay customer service focused in a busy retail grocery environment
Safety Mindset: An understanding of safety and food safety practices and a commitment to following them. This role requires proper training and knowledge of equipment and procedures, including: slicers, proper lifting techniques, trash compactor, baler, etc
Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
