Jesse Parris-Lamb is a Brooklyn based interior design firm specializing in high-end residential spaces. They are seeking an Intermediate Residential Architect to create comprehensive design documents and manage various aspects of high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities

Create full CD sets for projects including floor plans, elevations, millwork, tile layouts, and custom furniture designs in AutoCAD

Produce high-quality floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings in AutoCAD

Develop comprehensive drawing packages for contractor bidding and ongoing construction execution

Attend project meetings and document key takeaways, decisions, and action items

Maintain consistent drafting standards and organized file structures across all projects, including detailed specifications for all furnishings, plumbing fixtures, appliances, lighting, and finishes

Ensure up-to-date and accurate information in project files and schedules

Review submittals, shop drawings, and field conditions for conformance with the design

Prepare project site surveys and input into AutoCAD

Communicate clearly and effectively with internal team members, external partners, vendors and clients

Prepare proposals in Studio Designer, manage client communication and purchasing

Place client orders, manage correspondence with receiving warehouses, track orders and plan installations

Required

3-5 years of post-graduate, full-time experience in all phases of high-end residential design, including schematic design, design development, construction documents, through construction administration

Degree in Interior Architecture or Architecture from an accredited university

Fluency in Autocad and the Adobe Creative Suite

Strong written, verbal communication and technical design skills

Ability to multitask, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized
