Consulting Clinical Informaticist

Responsibilities
Creates solutions that drive the development of content and functions in Expanse to optimize utility of the system, ensuring that clinical and workflow needs are met and all regulatory and enterprise Corporate initiatives are appropriately considered in solution designs
Independently identify and develop solutions that create measurable value from the Expanse EHR through optimization of clinical workflow for enhanced efficiency and quality of care
Establish and maintain key relationships with Corporate partners, Division stakeholders, and end users to ensure that Expanse clinical content meets the needs of end users and relevant stakeholders
Obtain end user feedback, and identify opportunities for continued improvement in standard content and functions in Expanse
Collaborate with ITG, Clinical Informatics and Expanse Product teams to refine problem definition, develop requirements, and validate proposed build of solutions
Integrate evidence-based practice, clinical informatics science, and human factors principles into Expanse product and content designs
Leverage broad understanding of EHR functions to guide informatics solution requirements and design to achieve project objectives
Facilitate prioritization sessions with Expanse team leaders to identify top projects
Partner with CT&I, CSG, and ITG teams to review feedback from facilities live on Expanse and assist with determining how to incorporate that feedback into the Expanse product roadmap
Maintain active communication with key stakeholder groups
Provide expertise and consultation on Expanse product functions to facilities, Divisions, and Corporate departments
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree required
7+ years related experience required
Experience with Meditech systems is required
Up to 25% travel required
Position located in Nashville, TN
Preferred
Experience with EMR implementations or optimization
Licensed RN, RPh, PA, or NP
