Responsibilities
Lead and execute the monthly and quarterly financial close process for inventory and COGS, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with accounting standards
Prepare, review, and analyze inventory and COGS reports, identifying key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
Partner with cross-functional teams to support reporting and consolidation activities, including automation and process improvement initiatives
Deliver timely and accurate financial analysis and ad hoc reporting related to inventory and COGS as requested by management
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, ensuring system accuracy and compliance with established guidelines
Support external audit and controls engagement, including preparing PBCs (Provided by Client lists), facilitating testing, and responding to auditor inquiries
Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial regulations
Drive presentations and reporting to executive management for inventory and COGS financial inputs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent
Preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling skill is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Point is preferred
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Good understanding of financial concepts and US GAAP accounting principles
Excellent understanding of/or skills with financial planning & reporting systems
SAP experience is preferable
SQL, data mining, and database management skills are desired
Prior experience supporting global manufacturing processes in a fast-paced environment is a plus
Experience in working with global cross functional teams
Extensive relevant experience desired, preferably in the tech industry
